When will the project be finished?
Project completion is scheduled for Spring 2027.
What dust control and site cleaning policies are in place?
Dust will be controlled on the site using a variety of techniques based on varying site and weather conditions. These will include (but not be limited to): placement of mud mats at all truck access points; spraying of calcite along the access routes to maintain moisture and minimize dust on construction access roads; washing of trucks and wheels when leaving the site during shoring and excavation; and regular street and sidewalk and bike lane sweeping and watering to clean paved surfaces.
The effectiveness of the dust control is dependent on the frequency of use/application which will increase during periods of dry weather.
Adjacent roadways and sidewalks will be pressure-washed weekly, or more frequently as needed to be safe and clear of construction debris. Snow removal, as required within 24 hours.
Will there be noise or vibration?
Regarding vibration, a Zone of Influence Report has been completed by a qualified Engineer, to outline recommendations and requirements for the proposed construction. All requirements outlined in the report will be carried out. Vibration monitoring equipment will be in place and actively monitored.
What are the working hours of the site?
The work hours are 7am-8pm Monday to Thursday, 7am-7pm Friday, Saturday 9am to 5pm.
What traffic management plans are in place?
Qualified flag personnel will be employed throughout the construction on site to assist with the flow of construction vehicles entering or leaving the site. It is estimated that approximately 1-5 delivery vehicles will enter and exit the site each day from the start to the end of construction. However, some days will have more and some will have less, depending on the work scheduled for the day. The timing for deliveries will be at all times between. 7am-8pm Monday to Thursday, 7am-7pm Friday, Saturday 9am to 5pm No deliveries are anticipated on Sundays.
